Will there be questions like x^2 + 7x + 10/x + 3 on the test? I am not understanding the long division part to solving these things. Thanks.

Yes, left the "College" out by accident. Essentially, all of the sections. I'm going through a text book recommended by blueyzz28, titled "Introductory and Intermediate Algebra, 2nd edition," by Bittinger & Beecher. I think I got it for a dollar or two off of Amazon.com, not inclusive of shipping, used, had the odor of cigarette smoke on it, that's mostly gone except when wafting through certain pages. I've gone through chapters 1-5, being "Introduction to Real Numbers and Algebraic Expression," "Solving Equations and Inequalities," "Graphs of Linear Equations," "Polynomials: Operations" and "Polynomials: Factoring." I've skipped over most of the word problems, geometry, and some of the more minute graphing details. There are a total of 12 chapters. Basically, I'm trying to cover everything on the exam as quickly as possible, and skip anything that's not. It's possible, judging from the CLEP Official Study Guide's practice exam, that I'm going a little to in-depth in some areas.

I have my old high school algebra text ...which really is handy .... I recalled it had a chapter dedicated to dividing polynomial... I will try to look for it and copy out an example....
