    Default College Math

I need to get college math done like yesterday to complete a degree for the USAF. I have not been in math for some time. I have a study guide for College Math but it only has questions. My question to all is: 1. Any advice on this clep? 2. Any resources to teach me how to do some of these problems? 3. How hard this clep is? 4. How long to study?

    Thanks to all.

I used two study guides for College Math:

    > Peterson's CLEP Success - it may be available for free online, especially for military people.

    > Princeton Review's Cracking the CLEP

These two books cover all of the five CLEP General exams, but that's what I used.

I found the test to be challenging, but I did OK. It was harder than some other CLEP tests that I've taken. Some tests seem to take only an hour or two a day for a week to study. This test may take longer. Even though the Princeton Review shows you some test-taking shortcuts, you should know the material. The Peterson's book will show you the material that you need to know - and do the problems. Peterson's is usually too hard relative to the test, but in math, you do need to know the correct answer.

    Two things

Study like mad you fool and get that CCAF.. LOL I am in the Same Boat as you.

But my education office told me that Principles of Statistics (DSST) can ALSO be used for the math requirement.

I am now studying both.. Math and the Stats... take one test one week. take the other the next.

I just took the College Mathematics Clep test today. I found the Petersons Clep Success book online for free. I thought that the practice questions in it were a little harder than the questions on the actual test. I finished the clep test 20 mins early. I ended up getting a 74. If you can get 50% on the Petersons 8th edition clep success book; I think you will be able to pass the Clep test fairly easily.
