Default Ethics / Org. Behavior Notes?

    Hi,

I am getting ready for EC Ethics and Org. Behavior as well... I will take them by mid Aug. These 2 will be my last tests and I want to make sure I do great since for what I have ready here they are very deep, so will try to cover as much as possible. Any additional study notes for any of these tests would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    J.

I don't have any notes but there are great resources on the net you can use in addition to instantcert for Ethics! -

    Below are all free!

On Itunes -Utah Valley State has great lectures entitled -Phil 2050 Ethics and Values. 30 videos! Skip the first one.

Found this great site with lectures and pdf downloads(in easy to understand language!) - Lawrence M. Hinman, Lectures on Ethical Theory. Fall 2001.
Only 13 videos compared with the Utah Valley State ones.

Downloaded some background info on some of the philosphers and theories on Itunes.

Radio Free Philosophy - great podcasts #25 on Relativism, #26 Divine Command Theory, #28 Aristotle Virtue Ethics
    Philosphy the classics - Kant #3,Rousseau#5,JS Mill #1,Locke #8,Hobbes #11,Aristotle #15
Ethics Bites- 9 podcasts on applied ethics. I listened to all of them.

After I was done with all this studying I went over instantcert cards one last time before taking the practice test. Also was recommended the Complete Idiot's guide to Understanding Ethics. Bought that used on Amazon. I received an A.

    Best of luck.

As for org behavior, I don't have any extra notes or resources for that except for an audible book in addition to instancert cards. You can go to the Specific exam feedback thread for the link.

From what I've read, all you need for Org. Behavior is the IC flashcards.

Organ. Beh. you need more than the cards if you want an A or B. Use the vanguard notes on audible.com and the Excelsior practice test and go through the stories. The test have many questions with scenarios and you have to know which theory applies to the situation. So you can't just remember the answers on the flashcards you have to internalize the theories and be able to apply them to situations.

And know the terms: organizational re-engineering, different structures and study's, and who did the work on them.
