For clep study guides I've found the reviews on Amazon to be spot on. Jack Rudman's books don't tend to get reviews as high as the REA series.

I have purchased two of the Jack Rudman Books but haven't used them yet. I purchased Public Speaking and Money and Banking. Has anyone experienced success with his CLEP or DSST Study Guides? Please list which ones.

    Default I have used 3 Rudman's

I used Rudman's for History of Vietnam war, Intro to world religions and Technical writing. They were fine for the first 2, but I did not like the 3rd one. The problem with them is they do not explain the answers it is just take the test see what you got wrong and find the right answer. Most of the other guides I liked gave an explanation of the correct answers. I have found I use less study time and do fine with IC and looking up terms or ideas I don't understand at first.

I have tried 3 of the Rudmans "red books", and cannot express how bad these things were prepared. Luckily, I did not use any of them as my primary study reference. In my opinion they are not worth the money. I would rather go with a cheap used college text from amazon. Just my 2 cents.

I concur - IMO they do more harm than good. There are plenty of other alternative sources (see below).

I used one for the Soviet Union DSST and I agree. They are not worth the money and they DID NOT reflect the questions asked on the exam.
