    Default Microeconomics notes and/or help

Does anyone have any notes or practice exams for micoreconomics? I am taking the exam at 12.30 tomorrow. been studying a week now but I am kind of second guessing myself becaue I spoke to 4 persons and they all said it was extremely hard. Any additional materials will be greatly appreciated

    Default same problem

hi i know you're kind of running out of time but I just wanted to let you know that i'm having the exact same problem, except i'm taking macro tomorrow.

today i went to barnes and noble and looked through Barron's EZ Study Keys 101, which was very helpful. I also took the practice test from the official clep study guide, which boosted my confidence.

have you tried the peterson's tests? unfortunately they cost money...

if nothing else, i would look over the reviews at sparknotes.com; may refresh your memory and clarify a few things for you.
i also found these links somewhere on the forum CyberEconomics: Table of Contents
    Economics
    they both include micro topics

wish i could help more... but good luck!

Have you been using IC? If not, I strongly recommend it - I used it and you can see my score.

As a supplement for major concepts/overview I also used:
    Economics Study Guides - SparkNotes

I found this site v. helpful - I used it for Macro (along with IC).

Also - re Petersons - do you have a local US library card and what county/state do you live in?

There are a number of county libraries have FREE PETERSONS PRACTICE TEST - all you need is online access to be able to use all the Peterson's CLEP tests through their electronic/online resources. All you need is your library card.

Thanks a million guys. I am using instant cert. I have completed and reviewed the 229 questions and did a sample test from some website I cant remember and I am trying to get some additonal material. thanks for the the info and the encouragement.
Hopefully I can do well and I will have some good news for you guys tomorrow. I really need to pass this though becuase its the only way I can get to begin my upper levels in the fall. I had to really pester the dean to get that deal...clep econ and begin my upper levels... so i want him to see that I am no slacker.
If I do pass I will be looking to clep out of more hours as I am allowed to clep up to 30 hours for my degree. I am doing an accounting degree.

that's great! i passed my test as well. next i have microeconomics.

maybe you can do the DANTES money and banking test towards your accounting degree? if it applies.

to knucyt above, where can i find more information on these free petersons tests? that would save soooo much money! those are helpful, but $20 per subject adds up. i live in colleyville, tx.

    thanks, and congratulations, clepomatic!

yelesomnerual - visit or call your local library and ask them if they provide this service, if not, ask them if any libraries in your state do and find out if you can get access w/your library card.

It is marketing differently depending on the County/State.

    Your local library:

    COLLEYVILLELIBRARY.COM

    shows the following:

    Learn-A-Test
Provides online practice tests and tutorials designed to help students and adult learners succeed on academic or licensing tests.

This may or may not cover CLEPS/DANTES - you will need to find out how to access this service from your library and check it out.

I can't send you what my access page looks like - just a pdf of the page exceeds the forum's limits. The portal service provider is Gale via my local library portal.

You are welcome! I know all libraries are not created equal regarding what they offer, but many of them provide a lot of stuff online. I have found my local/state library system to be a phenomenal resource for all kinds of academic and cultural pursuits including these exams, as well as an excellent resources for various school papers I have had to write a lot of papers during the last three years and did all of my prelim research sitting at home on my computer. The only word of caution I have is that not all the library staff have a good idea of the specifics available within the system, so it pays to explore the resources indepth, yourself. Furthermore, I have been able to access large university libraries, interlibrary borrowing options to support research papers very very easily - and it only takes a few days to get the resources. It is truly amazing what our tax dollars do for us sometimes!
