This was a great help in reviewing for the CLEP. Short, outline-line chapters of main points to remember, ranked with a "star" system according to importance, with review questions at the end of each chapter. There's underlining and highlighting throughout the book, but still a great resource. $10, postage-paid. PM me if interested. Becky

Just seconding beckycan for any newbies!
Barron's was my main outline for US HIST I also. A GREAT RESOURCE!!! I wanted the Cliff's Notes HIST I at first, couldn't find it within a 1 hour radius, and "settled" for Barron's. After taking the exam, I was extremely satisfied with Barron's Outline and have since been able to flip through Cliff's--my first love that I never saw. I would take HIST I Barron's anyday over Cliff's because of its basic, condensed nature that helps simpletons like me. ![]()
