Yes, I took that exam. It really depends on how much Abnormal, Nursing and Psych background you already have. I would read each chapter summary and then use the CD and the website to test your knowledge. It's very scenario oriented and client based.

    Default Psych Nursing

I don't know about the ECE exam but i know when i was in school and took my psych nursing exam and final and i kinda just skimmed through the psych book most of my studying came from the Psych sections of many different NCLEX-RN practice books. This time of year is perfect as many recent grads are preparing for NCLEX-RN just go to barnes and nobles or the like buy a coffee or something in the cafe and sit there and use their books for free. I personally bought my favorite to use at home but different books sometimes have items others didn't so i would go to the book store to look at other books without paying $50-75. Trust me they don't care I spent 6 weeks going to local bookstores basically using their practice books for free (well i usually bought something in the cafe (lunch or coffee) but hey i buy a coffee daily anyways).

Has anyone taken both ECE Psychiatric Nursing and DSST Fundamentals of Counseling? I'm wondering if there would be any overlap between the two since I've read that both are scenerio based.
