I'm finally going back home to Texas. It's been a long 15 months here in Baghdad. I just have one more day to stay alive so I can get on the plane on 8 Feb and fly the heck out of here.
I'm glad I found IC to keep me busy on my down time. I want to say that I was able to get a lot accomplished as far as education goes thanks to IC and everyone on this Forum. If I can get this much done over here, I should be able to hit the ground running when I get back to the US and knock out more tests.Again, thanks to all. See you when I see you. ![]()

Well, they pushed back my flight by one day. I guess that's better than getting extended some more. Hey, I don't know if you guys watched the news but it actually snowed over here in January. They said it hadn't snowed over here in over 100 years. (BYA) I will be going back to Fort Hood, TX (Killeen, TX) where I'm stationed but I'm from The Rio Grande Valley. That's way down south towards McAllen, TX. Thanks again,

Thank you guys for all your replies.
Well, since I've been back in the US from Iraq, I thought I would knock out more exams quicker. Especially since I'm not getting shot at or have rockets fall on me anymore. But I found that my little girl and wife have been keeping very busy. Hardly any time to study. They have me running around all over the place when I'm not working. When I want to study for a test at night, I am too tired. I finally put in 3 days of study time on my US Hist I test and passed it with a 52. Barely but I passed. Natural Science is next along with US Hist II. My wife was amazed at how much CLEP/DSST credit I got with the help of IC during my deployment. I think I got her on board so she can finish up here Teaching Degree. After all, When I retire, she needs to pick up the tab so I can go fishing/hunting. And of course be a stay at home dad Or (Domestic Engineer) as I like to call it. Thank you guys,
