Default Heres to your health, next week!

I am taking the DSST Heres to your health exam next week. This is the only exam I need to pass in order to get my bachelors. After taking the D&A, and now going over the IC for this exam, it seems pretty straight foward. Has anyone seen any difficulty with this exam, and has anyone remembered what type of questions are asked?

Umm yeah make sure you actually study for this. I took the electronic version and found it was a lot harder than people on here said. Maybe they revised the test for the PC version. I used Peterson's and IC and it was all I needed to pass.

I have this exam scheduled for Jan. 11th as well. There seems to be a wide range of topics that IC covers. After going over the flash cards once, I feel completely clueless. Does the actual test focus on one area in particular, or is it a general overview of all of the topics?

Also, where do you get the peterson practice test for this?

I don't believe Petersons has a practice exam for this.

Head over to The DSST Program , and you can purchase one of their practice tests there.

Good luck!

Do you think it would be worth it to get the Peterson Exam for this test? I need to pass this exam before Jan 10th or else I won't be able to get into grad school for this semester. I'm very nervous.

I just spoke to my counselor at school and she said that I can take this for the last 3 credits. I just scheduled the exam for this friday. I am going to study as much as possible. Anyone else have any advice?

I just took a DSST Practice exam for the Heres to your health exam. I thought I had done better, but out of the 50 questions I got 25 out of 50 correct. Is this bad? I don't think I am going to do well on this exam. Any confidence boosting is helpful.

I wouldn't use the DSST practice exam as a gauge for how well you'll do on the real exam. I would use it as a score booster, since the material you learn in that sample will probably help you to get a few extra points on the actual test.

Also, if the sample test identified any areas of weakness for you, try to pick a couple of those topics and do some reading on wikipedia.

And go back and read through all of our previous posts on that exam if you haven't already. Most people generally consider it to be one of the easier exams, and you might pick up a tidbit here and there.

Good luck!
