Question English Requirement

Hello everyone,
I need to fufill Excelsior's english requirement and am totally confused about which exam would be best for me.
I am not a native english speaker and so i would like to opt for the easiest one of the 3: TECEP,ECE English Comp with Essay,ECE College Writing.
For the TECEP the biggest problem for me is that it is pass/fail.I have recd some enginnering credits(38.50) recently and because of those my GPA has fallen to 2.6 i have B's and C's in almost all those exams...
I do think i could do well on the College Writing exam because it has 3 essays and nothing else but i am worried about the topics.I heard one person had a topic on global warming and if was in his place i would'nt know what to writeMy general knowledge is not bad and i can write an average essay(i think)....but only on topics that i know a lot about
The ECE English Comp exam- I ahve heard a lot of negatives about this one..that it's too lengthy,challenging,etc...
I think i will do alright in the multiple choice section of this one and then there is just one essay with options. Also i believe the multiple choice questions could save me (i can get some right and guess on others)if i write a bad essay.
I need to take a decision soon because i need to register in order to take the exam in Jan.Please help me

Default LSU - Go Tigers!

I took this one a couple of years ago, it wasn't too bad.

Louisiana State University English Composition (ENGL 1001) -- $229

I'm simply taking a brick & mortar English Comp 101 to fulfill my degree requirements through Excelsior. I've had to write 4 papers and the tests haven't been too bad. I chose this route because by the time I took the ECE test, waited the 73 days ( ) it takes for them to grade it, then stressed if I passed or not: I could have taken a regular class and KNOWN I passed.

Seems like you received several proven ways to knock this out, now you just have to choose one and get on it! Good Luck, Lee

Default Thanks

Thanks a lot everyone...your advice is very good and thanks for all the links Cindy.
I want to get my degree as early as Feb end for several reasons and so a class will not work out for me.Every class is at least a semester long..i called a few of those last month and they said i will have to wait to get my grade on each paper before i submit the next.
I gather from all the advice and previous posts that College Writing is do-able.
I think i will wait another week and then register for this one.My Ethics in America results are going to be here and if i have C(or fail)grade in that i will go for college writing and if the grade is good and improves my GPA then i can go for the TESC English exam which is pass fail.
Thanks a bunch,
Adoncia
