First - Search through all of the other established threads, there's a lot of GREAT info. THIS IS IMPERATIVE!!!!

Second - Get supplemental study resources - REA book, Standard Deviant video/dvd.

Third - Take some mock exams (Petersons) to measure your skills.

Fourth - RELAX!!!!

GOOD LUCK

Hi MMARKLEY.

I really can't add much to what Shoto posted but wanted to say welcome and send some encouragement your way. When I was studying for this, I also looked up a lot on Wikipedia. There are some great descriptions there. IC is enough for your main study tool but it took me longer than a week to prepare. Perhaps you know more going in than I did though. A good strategy for me is to take a practice exam first so that I know what I need to study and what I don't. Then I can focus on my weak areas without wasting time on the areas I've got down already.

Ever upward,
Librevore

Let me add one more step to my original reply,,,,,,

Fifth - Take your time and LEARN the material - there is NO RUSH to the finish line as everyone who crosses IS A WINNER.

Default My advice

I always say my advice is hardly worth 2 cents, b/c this is only my own experiance, but here it is. I was very worried about this test before I took it. I am a big crammer so I only studied a few days and was very nerveous about the amount of material. I was also told that this was one of the hardest clep tests. When I started the test I felt I had a strong control of many of the questions and I ended up with a 58- Granted not great, but I passed. The rea practice questions were very helpfull for me, but everyone has their own preferences.
Good luck
