I didn't see a thread for this in exam feedback:
As stated in the exam sheet, there are 20 multiple choice questions, and four problem-type questions. One of the multiple choice questions was about FIAC, or maybe FAIC, and I didn't know what that was. Two of the problem-type questions had multiple sub-questions, like a - i, or nine sub-questions. One was a two-parter, and the last was a single question asking for four criteria on a subject. One of the problem-types was regarding the Swan-Diagram (although not classified as such), and the orthodox fiscal and monetary approaches to the four different zones. One of the problems referenced current and quick ratios. One would find it helpful to have a background in or taken macro and micro, accounting, money and banking before taking this exam. I found that many of the questions were more applied reasoning than "what is a Eurodollar?," although there were a few basic questions on that type within both the multiple choice and problem-type questions. The only questions regarding math on my exam were exchange rate conversions. The actual exam sheet is a standard fill in the bubble sheet like on the SAT or LSAT, then with maybe 8 lined pages for the problem-type questions. I recommend circling your answers in the test booklet, filling them in on the bubble sheet, and then backtracking to ensure you filled in the bubbles correctly. I believe I did at least B-level, but I won't know until the test is mailed in to TESC, and then mailed to I guess ECE, who will then notify me of my grade.

I used "International Economics," by Dominick Salvatore, 9th edition. I did hate reading the book, as I found it incredibly boring and hard on the eyes, and the concepts were sketchy and Keynesian. However, TECEP exams are very dated and Keynesian in tone, so that isn't a bad thing, entirely.
