    Default CLEP Fever!!!

After passing my second CLEP today I have the fever (or maybe it’s just REALLY HOT here in CT today)! This is looking very doable, but I wonder about a BA strictly by exam, no in-class time. So, I have two questions:

Are there enough exams to complet a BA?
How many majors are there that you can test out of completely?

I was going to major in Psychology at COSC or TESC, but it looks like there are lab requirements.

The grad school I plan on attending doesn’t really care about my major, so "general studies" is OK, but it would be nice to have one just the same.

    Thanks!

COSC doesnt offer majors, so if that is what you want, look elsewhere.

The answer is yes, but most require SOMETHING other than simply testing--even if its only the one credit Information Literacy "course" requirement from Excelsior. You can do searches on this site and look at bain4weeks and 123collegedegree and testingoutofcollege as well. This site will have the most current information but you can get a good overview from the other sources. Don't let a few on-line classes distract you though. Just know that there are several options where the overwhelming majority of credits may be obtained via testing.

Thanks, I have read quite a bit and been to those sites. Maybe I'm still in shock because I have acquired 9 credits within the past month!
