Default Upper Level Humanities & Natural Science

    Hi Everyone,

    I have a question.

I need to get an upper level credit in either Humanities or Natural Science, but my choices are extremely limited via the exam method.

I am finding these limited choices:

    Humanities:
    ECE - American Dream
    ECE - Bioethics: Philosophical Issues
ECE - Ethics: Theory & Practice
ECE - Religions of the world

    Natural Science / Mathematics
    ECE - Pathophysiology

None of these tests seem very appealing, and none of them are an instacert topic.

I was thinking of doing the religions of the world one, but wanted to check with anyone that may have experience as to the difficulty of any of these tests and perhaps any other options to explore.

    Thanks!

the only one on your list that I have taken is Ethics...just keep in mind that the EC exams are significantly more difficult than DSSTs and CLEPs...but that should be expected with upper-levl credits...my point...be prepared

I see you took a German exam.

If you are very fluent in German, you could take the OPI verbal exam in German, it gives 10 lower and 2 upper credits in humanities at EC. (Not sure from TESC stand point, it is ACE evaluated, and your grades show up on ACE transcript)

FYI-Both "American Dream" and "Religions of the World" are essay exams.

For the ECE ethics exam, I used IC and bought the idiots guide to ethics which is quite good for the exam. I also purchased the practice exam on the excelsior website. I was able to get an A on this exam and felt that the idiots guide was very much on point.
