and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on one that you think were "easy" and definately recommend. I have taken so far Here's to your Health and today at 1130 I will be taking Drug and Alcohol Abuse. I have 8 LL classes to take left and 2 Upper Level classes to take as well. (For a Bachelors in Liberal Arts). My main goal is to get my Masters in Human Resources(someday)
So I am just starting on these test, but I have noticed some of you are really knowledgable and have been here for a while and wondering if you could help me out here. Thanks!! |

For a quick 3L Credits, go for Intro to Sociology. From start to finish, you should be ready to test in a week.
For a quick 3U credits, go for Civil War & Reconstruction. As far as I can tell most of us on her who have needed UL credits have used this test to fill that requirement, so there are plenty of post about the test. Same goes for Sociology. Best of luck Scott

I would definitely recommend ECE's organizational behavior over civil war for upper lvl credit for easiness factor. (and drug abuse, but you're already taking that one =)

I was under the impression that the ECE Org. Behavior test was redone as of the first of the year and was made substantially harder (Same goes for ECE Ethics: Theory & Practice).
I haven’t taken either Org. Behavior or Ethics, so I can’t speak for the level of difficulty you’ll encounter. Civil War on the other hand was pretty straight forward. I guess this goes to show once again the vast diversity of knowledge and insight steaming throughout this forum. Maybe all this studying is rubbing off on us. Which ever you choose, there are plenty of posts from individuals who have taken these test to help you out. If all else fails, ask Snazzelfrag! Best of luck Scott

Ha ha! Actually, I am just going through this process like everyone else: one foot in front of the other. It's the COMBINED knowledge of the group that makes this board what it is. If you put me on a pedestal, I will surely fall...and break a rib or something. There is wisdom in the counsel of many...let's keep it that way!

50 - I'd have to agree that clep analyzing lit is a great way to get 6 LL, then do Sociology for 3 more. The easiest way to go. Two weeks tops to finish both. For UL, I'm on the OB bandwagon as well. I found it much easier to study for than Civil War. But then again, it all depends on what's easier for you. OB tends to be a lot of common sense where CW is a lot of factiods to remember. If you are comfortable with computers, MIS is another super-easy UL exam. I DON'T recommend Money and Banking as your UL choice - waaay too much work to pass it. Let us know what you decide!
Hunter - it's been a while since I took it, but OB is not too hard. I think IC is enough to pass. Also, I think both EC recommended texts have companion sites. You can google the ISBN (provided on the free content guide) to find the companion site. There are mulitple choice questions there that you can use to supplement IC. (Sorry, I don't have the links any longer but I do remember taking the chapter quizzes online.) You'll do great next Friday!

Sorry, was off moving all last week... I took ECE Org Behavior last month...IC was enough I think. I also took ECE Ethics: Theory and Practice a few days ago...and it was much easier than I thought it would be. The exam was over half scenario-based. You need to know the basics on how all the main philosophies of ethics work, and be able to differentiate between them. Again, IC seemed to work just fine for this exam (thanks alot to the amount of scenarios now in the flash cards). Alot of common sense goes a long way for Ethics as well I think.
