Hello everyone.
I went to take the Financial Accounting CLEP scheduled at 2pm today est. I told my test administrator before I even took the test that I didn't want to know what my score was until I got home. She agreed. As I was taking the test I was shocked by the number of math questions involved. I was assuming more terminology and concept questions. It seemed like I was skipping every question. As time approached the "5 minute left" mark...I still had about a good 15 questions that needed answers. I checked the 3rd answer for the rest of the questions and watched the clock go down to zero. I held about 8 sheets of scratch paper to the computer screen to block where the score usually shows up just leaving enough room to show the report scores and cancel scores tab. I clicked the report scores tab twice and then the proceed button around 3-4 times. As I stood up, I was the pissed of the piss!!! I don't think anyone could have been as pissed as I was after I got out that chair. My administrator asked me how I did and I said that I think I failed and told her the reasons why. She thought I canceled my score but I didn't. As we proceeded to walk back to her office for the print out, I excused myself to the restroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and I can see how pissed I was...it was all over my face. As I left the restroom and opened the door to her office, she was right at the door. She looked me in my eyes and said, "Marshall...you passed." I got more pissed and I said, "what did I tell you!!!" I didn't want to know until I got home! But hey...since I passed...it's okay!!!!!!! I tried to play it off like it was no big deal until I got in my car outside. There I let off the biggest laugh I could possibly muster. I didn't do as well as I thought I would have but like everyone says..."A pass is a pass." I only needed a 50 and I scored a 53. God was on my side once again. Three more credits under my belt. Now I can register for my Managerial Accounting class at the local cc. Just thought I'd share this with you guys. From a loyal degree seeker, Marshall

Congratulations Marshall, and I will tell you I felt the same exact way after that exam (also after statistics). On that note I dedicate this little ditty based on Jesus loves me to all of us test takers who swear that the only way they managed to pass an exam was with divine intervention.
Jesus loves me this I know for my clep score tells me so Thought I failed the good lord knows but I passed so on I go Yes Jesus Loves me, yes jesus loves me Hopefully no-one takes offense with this as it isnt meant disrespectfully but to explain the feeling you get when you are positive you failed and when you didn't you think well God be watching out for me, for me to have passed.

Thank you guys for the kind words.
Original Big Jim...you are so silly! No I did not piss on my face!!!! You had me in tears laughing so hard!!! I just wanted to thank you all again for the kind words and for the encouragement and support. I could not do what I am doing now if it wasn't for this forum. You guys are awesome. I am going to my local cc to register for the Managerial Accounting Class today. I still cannot believe I passed that exam. I still look at my exam print out with utter disbelief! My stepfather didn't think I'd pass. He kept going on and on about how difficult Financial Accounting is and blah blah blah. He said that if I passed the Financial Accounting CLEP that I would have earned his respect big time!!!....well...I passed. So in the words of Xerxes... "Embrace me...as your king and as your god!!!!" Thank you all again. Peace be with you always. From a loyal degree seeker, Marshall P.S: My signature is looking better and better!!! ![]()
