Default Quick! Help me Decide which CLEP to take...

I just found out that I'm 3 credits short from graduating Aug 15th!

These are the CLEP's I can take:

    American GOV'T
    US Hist I
    US Hist II
    Macro Economics
    Micro Economics
    Marketing
    Western Civilization II

I am HORRIBLE at math (and that is an understatment!) so I prefer not to take CLEP's with math...I think some of the ones above have math...like Marketing? I'm also not so hot with dates (ie History/Gov). Which of these CLEP's is easiest using IC ONLY to study?

I'd really appreciate input as I have to decide and take a CLEP ASAP! TIA!

I have successfully completed the CLEP's in my sig:

Either the A. Gov. or marketing. Both are doable with minimal study.

You got a 70 on Principles of Management. If you can do that, you can DEFINITELY pass Principles of Marketing. It isn't a math type of exam, and you will not find anything scary on it. I promise!

Just study IC until you feel comfortable, and then go and earn yourself those final three credits.

    Best of luck,

I agree - Marketing is the way to go, unless you are a real history/literature buff already. I cringe at the idea of math questions on timed tests. I have a real love/hate relationship with Math - I like it, but I am defintely challenged by it when testing!

Can you calculate a percentage increase/decrease? That is all the math you really need for this exam.

I used the resource below to remind me how to do it (I just so could not ask my 13 year old to remind me how to do it!): Algebra maybe, but percentages!! No!! A parent has to keep some dignity!

    http://media.wiley.com/product_data/...0470007192.pdf

I found the InstantCert flashcards worked well for me and the REA book "Intro to Marketing" gave me the big picture I needed in less than 2 hours. The REA tests were good practice for the math questions (altho' they were not nearly as hard or nearly as many on the actual exam!) Out of all the exams I have done, this one took me the least amount of time to study for and was the easiest of any on your list.

Thanks everyone for your help! I took the Principles of Marketing test today, using IC ONLY and got a 65!

There were several things on the test that were not covered by IC but I either knew them, they were common sense answers or guessed right, so I was happy with the end result.
