Default Can you take the CLEP test online?

Just wondering if it's possible to take the test online vs going into a testing center?

I can see how people are doing that with DSST. When I took a DSST test last year, the proctor was having a heck of a time logging in after I entered my info. Finally she said, "Here you type it in for me" as she handed me her ID and password.

IF I would have memorized her info I could have gone home, logged into any test and taken it "open book".....all from the comfort of my home.

No, it must be AT an official CLEP testing center.

Also CLEP tests are done through software not actually online when you are at the testing center. You are not on a website when you are taking the test, your results just get uploaded after. Their process does seem slightly more secure even if their software reminds me of old computer games in elementary school like Oregon Trail and Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego.
