I would hope so since the tests should carry the same content.

Default dsst statistics 2008

I took dsst principles of statistics and I did notice that the exam said principles of statistics 2008 on it. I was able to take this via computer as well. I used my calculator for the majority of the test, it was tough but I passed with an A. Truthfully I didn't have to many theory or gimme questions even the ones that said pick the chart that matched the results of the data you had to calculate the results first.

you take them online at the test site. I know it is confusing but that is just the way things are.

Default I just took the paper-based MIS

I took the paper-based MIS exam on Monday, April 28th and I received my score today, exactly two weeks later. In my opinion, that's not horrible... but I do prefer the computer-based.

That said, they DID change the scoring. Instead of 80 being the best, the new scale is 200 to 500, with 400 being the recommended passing score. Also, I noticed that unlike previous posters on the MIS board that said there were tons of acronyms that weren't spelled out, that is no longer the case. They spelled out acronyms so there was no more confusion.

The insert I received with my scores said the following exams are also having a new scoring system:

Criminal Justice
Ethics in America
College Algebra
Here's to your Health
Intro to Computing
Intro to World Religions
MIS
Personal Finance
Statistics
Substance Abuse

I made a 461 on the MIS under the new scoring system. I'm still waiting to hear back from my school to see if I earn credit with that score.

Default How Will the New DSST Scoring Effect EC Letter Grades?

Awwww man! Just when I was getting used to this whole "testing out" thing they go and change the scores!

I was just wondering if anyone knew how the new scores might impact those of us trying to improve our rather mediocre (ok, maybe it's just me with old, crappy grades) GPA by taking Dantes tests to get letter grades at EC.
