Question Excelsior 6 Credit Exams/Courses

I just want to verify that these are all of the 6 credit exams/courses if enrolled at Excelsior. All the rest are 3 credit (except Information Literacy = 1)

CLEP
Calculus
Humanities
Analyzing and Interpreting Literature
Social Sciences and History
College Mathematics
Natural Sciences

ECE
American Dreams
Anatomy & Physiology

Default 6 credit cleps

I looked in my credit by exam book and the following cleps are 6 credits

american literature
analyzing and interpreting literature
english composition w/essay
english literature
freshman college composition w/essay
humanities
social sciences and history
biology
chemistry
college mathematics
natural sciences

All dssts are 3 and clep calculus on your list is 3 as well

ece exams 6 points

american dream
english composition
anatomy & physiology
literacy instruction in the elementary school

The nursing exams are generally 4, 6, or 8. I don't know about the online courses but I hope this helps.

Default credit by exam

The credit by exam book is my bible right now, as in what is the fastest way for me to get finished, which 6 credit exams could I take and pass to hurry things along. Good luck with your testing, you can use the book to plot out the whole general education path using exams (page 39).

You can either log in and download a copy off the ec site or call/email and ask to have one mailed to you. I had one sent when I called and asked about the program, they mailed the business catalog and credit by exam book before I applied or enrolled.
