Default Done!

Finally received word from TESC this morning that I passed the English Composition 1 TECEP examination. That was the last course/exam I needed to satisfy all of my degree requirements for an Excelsior College Liberal Arts Degree. I only need to forward the TESC transcript to Excelsior to have it conferred.

Thank you to everyone who inspired me to not get caught up in the weeds and just stay the course when Excelsior didn’t accept my prior 15 semester hours in English. Reading the many posts helped me to just knock out the exams and not get carried away in the minutia for petty requirements like WER.

Following your advice and anecdotes I was able to knock out 40 sem hours in less than 90 days admidst three weeklong business trips, directly participating in a weeklong field exercise and the many other daily distractions of life. By simply reading the discussion board I could see people who were accomplishing more, enduring more despite being afforded less. Your posts did the trick for me. When I thought it was too tough I just scheduled the exams anyway and bullied my way through to the goal. I received many low scores on the ECE exams but I have to admit haste-makes-waste, and I chose the hasty path.

Regardless, I'm done!

Again, thank you, ICS
