    Default Financial Accounting

Ok this is killing me. I'm going through the IC flash cards and the REA book and this stuff is so hard to retain. It's another language. Please tell me it isn't as difficult as it seams. Management and Marketing were like a walk in the park compared to this.

This one is tougher than Management or Marketing, I just finished taking Financial Accounting last Friday. Other than Statistics, it is the hardest one that I have taken. I took the DSST version because there is a DSST study guide for that subject. It is a tough exam, IC is all that I used to pass though, but it did take a while for everything to sink in. The test was not as hard as I feared it would be. The most important concept to get down is about accounts and the dual aspect of accounting where if one account is debited than another is credited...good luck...if you have any specific questions feel free to IM me.

Thanks...I'm taking the CLEP just because I'm used to them so I figured it would be safer. I also have the REA CLEP book so I should be good. After this I have to do DSST Finance and Statistics so I'm sure it will only get harder.

    jeffs34,

I don't know if this will help, but when I was studying for Principles of Financial Accounting I found this website Principles of Accounting. It also has managerial accounting stuff, but I just ignored that. Good Luck! Hopefully, you will do better than I did.
