Just an update - my daughter took American Lit. this morning & passed with a 69. She is going to break for the summer & continue "clepping" in the fall.
She is happy about having twelve college credits already & finishing up high school in a few weeks.
Again, one of the reasons for posting is to say a big hearty "Thank You" to each of you here that are contributing to giving us an understanding of how to make this work.

Congrats to your Daughter! She is already 1/10 of the way through completion of a Bachelor's degree!

If your children are motivated to continue with their college education this Summer, they may wish to take one or two independent or distance learning courses through LSU (Lousiana State University). The courses are dirt cheap ($241/course) and of course LSU is a regionally accredited school. Just have them pick something that they find interesting. Perhaps they could knock out English 101 and/or Psych 101? LSU has a ton of courses available to choose from. The majority of these courses will transfer over to any one of the Big 3 schools.

Tom
