Default General math CLEP - study time?

    Hey all
I have had college algebra (just finishing this semester) and want to take the CLEP for General Math next - I want to take it the 2nd week in May and I'll only have about a week and a half to study for it (right now I'm doing 4 classes and working 34 hours a week, so no time right now). Is it possible to pass this thing with only studying say an hour a day for a week and a half? Please share your experiences for those of you who took it and passed it.

I would guess that to be more than enough time, and if you have some background in probability and statistics, you can probably go ahead and test right away. Have you gauged your readiness using Peterson's exams?

I think it's the 'Mathematics' exams on the list.

Yes, if you have a reasonably good math background, you shouldn't need tons and tons of study time. I hadn't done algebra for about eight years but found that it came back to me pretty quickly. I studied for maybe about.....I don't know.......10-12 hours and got a 69.

Otherwise, please search the forum for 'activation' it's surely in one of the threads.
