Humanities was my first CLep. I took the exam a couple months back after three weeks of studying and scored a 65, I knew practically nothing when I started. I augmented IC with Wikipedia and Sparknotes. Wikipedia was used to increase my recognition of the arts and build a matrix of people mentioned in IC and which style or era they were from, such as Baroque. I read the free Sparknotes summaries for many of the stories/plays mentioned in IC.

Another thing that helped was the History and Discovery channels and a few Shakespeare movies on HBO. The Merchant of Venice and Romeo and Juliet were both on my exam.

    Good Luck

m_progcu, Do a search on the boards for Humanities and you'll find lots of threads on the subject including tips and feedback about the exam.

    Good luck on your exam!
