English Comp with Essay
Hi everybody.
I took the English comp with essay almost a month ago, but I still haven't got my mark back in the mail yet. I've taken 4 other CLEP tests in that time and passed them all, but I'd really like to know what I got on my English. Have any of you written that one recently? How long did it take you to get your marks back? Do you get a copy of your essay back, or just the mark you got? Mine took somewhere between 3-4 weeks

I'm finished!  OR Retake the English CLEP

I took the exam March 8 and got my results in the mail today. I squeaked by with a 57!

Took mine in February and got my score yesterday. I got a 63.
By the way, I called them like 3 weeks ago and they were able to tell me the actual mailing date. So I knew within a day or two when my score was coming in. That may help?!

Oooooh, I feel for you! I was so impatient on this one too....all my other tests were internet-based and it drove me NUTS to have to wait for my score!!! You should theoretically be getting it any day now. Let us know how you did!

hey thanks, goldpaws. I did phone them last week, and now I've finally got my mark. I don't know whether they'd mailed it before then or not, but at least I've got it now.
I wasn't sure how they'd grade my essay, since I definitely picked an unlikely point to argue, but it turned out okay. I got a 76!!!! Last edited by debs : 04-01-2008 at 05:07 PM.
