    Well, yes Excelsior..

    But what is the cost of transferable credit? (Trying to find it... and not finding it to be too clearly/easily found as of yet)

    Leading me to question whether I ought to try to roll in as much credit at UoP and then transfer it via transcript? or I should roll what I currently have already acquired and (depending upon the costs over at EC) collect it over there.

    EC does have the 100% graduation policy through transferable and tested credit - is that correct?

    I'm not sure I follow you, but to the best of my knowledge, there is ZERO cost to transfer credit to Excelsior. There is the application fee of $75 and an enrollment fee of $895 for business degree programs.

    My suggestion is to enroll at Excelsior, transfer all of your credits from UoP to Excelsior and complete your degree at Excelsior. For a general business degree, you will be able to test out of all degree requirements EXCEPT the one credit information literacy course and the capstone Business Policy course.

    EDIT: I'm sure it is just a typo in Joel's post, but the annual service fee is $495 per YEAR.

    You can pay 75 dollars to apply and send Excelsior all of you transcripts and they can give you an unofficial evaluation on what credits they will accept. I ended up with a few more extra once the official evaluation was completed.

    You pay $895 to officially enroll into the school or $765 if you are in the military or a veteran. Once you are enroll, you can take courses at your local community college and clep/dsst exams and there is no charge to get those college credits transferred over. The annual service fee is 495 per month.

    There is no cost. You only paid the initial enrollment fee of 895 and subsequent years, the annual student fee of 495. That's it. Even after you get your initial transcripts in, you can obtain more certs. Example, I can sign up and get my transcripts sent over, then say 6 months later I get my MCSE, I can get those added as well for no additional costs. I know some school do charge for some PLA for each additional units. Excelsior doesn't charge like that.

    I forgot to add, during the past 8 years I have obtained my MCSE and A+ for IT, and as a claims adjuster, I obtained my SCLA (Senior Claims Law Associate) and other insurance programs. With my MCSE, A+, SCLA, and Military background, I received about 50+ college credits. There is no charge for this, only the enrollment fee of 895 and each year thereafter is 495. Of course, you have graduate fee, which I can't recall amount because I'm work now. lol

    Are you saying UoP is charging you $75 for each credit? Or $75 dollars for all 29 credit? Either way I think Excelsior or TESC is going to be a better bet. They allow you to transfer in your credits for free.

    I am honestly saying that they charge $75 for most "eligible" credit to be transferred in, and $100 for other credit to be transfered in. Per credit.

    So, 10 credits would cost $750.00

    Thus part of the motivation of finding out the differences and respective benefits!
