    Default Clep.

Hi and welcome, Where are you from? Where are you at right now? Are you in a traditional college? Which one?

In short, the CLEP is a type of test you take to show knowledge of a subject. If you study adequately these tests tend to not be very hard. In my opinion CLEP sociology was the easiest CLEP.

If you are going to take psychology my advise is to buy an "idiots" guide to psychology. They can be found at almost any books store. The "idiots" guides are written for a bunch of different subjects. Read that book first and it will give you the basics. You can also use instantcert to help with your studies OR buy a used psych book that is (slightly) outdated. This will save you money. You don't need to go overboard on your studies, but you do need to know the basics. On average you will need to get about half (or slightly more) correct to pass. Good luck.

    Default 4 sham

Sham, Instantcert "academy" is basically online study cards. There is no "academy" per-se. It's just a study supplement to help out. Are you currently in America or India? If you are in America, what state are you in? I'm asking this because some states like California have VERY low in state tuition prices at a community college. If you are in India and are looking for an American degree then you can do it through Excelsior or other colleges. Although they are not terribly expensive, they are not cheap either and will take a few years. If you choose the American degree route make sure you have a good command of the english language as things can get a bit confusing at times and in certain subjects you might be at a disadvantage. By learning in your native language, you only have to worry about converting the finished idea, whereas in english you will have to learn in the host language which could make things more difficult.

-The CLEP's, & DSST's will augment your learning but you must take the appropriate ones as needed. Good luck! If you have any further questions I'll try to be of assistance.
