Default ECE Human Resource Management

I passed the Human Resource Management test yesterday and I scored a “B.” I was hoping for an A but I didn’t purchase either of the two textbooks recommended by Excelsior (and they recommend that students use BOTH) and there were some holes in the study material I used which, I believe, may have been the difference between a B and an A. I also only spent three weeks preparing—as opposed to the 140 hours recommended by Excelsior. Seems a little steep…

I posted feedback with regard to the test itself in the Specific Exam Feedback section along with some study materials I created and a link to the scoresheet I received for anyone who may be interested.

This test ends my quest for “magna cum laude” almost as soon as it began. I have some old C’s in things like Calculus that I don’t exactly want to revisit, so I needed all A’s on my last three graded exams—plus I would have to replace an old C in Business Law with a CLEP—to achieve magna cum laude. I wasn’t even paying attention to my grades at all until the last couple of tests when I figured out my GPA and saw that I was within striking range. Nonetheless, I’ll be happy with a naked “cum laude.” In some ways, it takes the pressure off so I can move faster. I just have to make sure I score above C on the last three. God-willing, I’ll be able to do at least that!

As you can see in my signature, 108 down, 12 to go! Next up: ECE Organizational Behavior while working on CSU-Pueblo Operations Management.

YOU CAN DO IT MIKE!! We're all rooting for you!

I was also hoping to achieve cum laude before I finished my degree and I was on track to get it. Unfortunately, the last exam I took was ECE Labor Relations and I scored a freakin C...which put me at 3.49...arrrrghhhh!!!!

(I'm not tryin to scare you or anything....LOL).

YOU are going to do great!

JoAnne

I agree with Kiwi Lover. You will easily make a C on your last three (judging from your signature). I too tried but ended up getting a B on one of my ECE's and resultingly threw that idea out the window. ^^

Anyway, good luck!
