Default FEMA, NFA, Other Online Cert's Im Confused

Ok guys I read the forums for the last week and I am way beyond confused. I read the forums at degree info and still am stumped.

I have about 50 college credits from a local community college and I have almost every fema class taken as they are required as part of my employment.

Can someone in plain english please explain to me where I should go to get my fema classes turned into credit at the lowest cost possible? And is there a way to get my other certs from other places evaulated for credit. I have certifications from the coast guard and from various other places. What is the easiest way to turn this into a degree? And where should I go to obtain this degree. I am currently an EMT and in Paramedic school and trying to get a Associate and then a Bachelors maybe even a Master's. I am trying to get these degrees with as little class taking as possible.

Thanks in Advance

EMSGUY:

I can't speak to any of the other schools, but TESC will accept your credits directly from FEMA, meaning there is no cost. They will not necessarily, however, accept all of them. Unless you are in the Emergency Management or Fire Protection Services programs, you can only use them towards your free electives. I don't believe there are any other exceptions.

Hope this helps a little.

In the unlikely event TESC does not award all 40 FEMA credits (I thought they recently changed their policy to award only 25 raw credits) - you can always use FCC:

EmergencyManagementStudy.com by Sytel

It costs more - but it's easy college credit.

The only way i know of to get FEMA credits cheaper than $60 a credit hour is if you are enrolled at TESC and they will accept them at no cost as a previous poster stated.

As fas as the second question I wish I knew of a place that does offer college credit for those since I have done all those you talked about. I have almost 130 certificates from courses like the ones you mentioned. I have compiled a list of 30 websites that offer free courses like those you mentioned that I put together for my work. If you want a copy of it let me know.

For those in Law Enforcement you can get 17 college credits really really cheaply by completing courses on CD offered at The Backup Training Corporation | Home
