My understanding was that CLEP exams were multiple choice. I am horrible at fill int he blank but that is what appears to be offered here. Can someone clear up for me whether the CLEP exam in multiple choice>? Thanks so much!

Yes, both the College Math and Pre-Calculus CLEP tests have some questions that require you to type in a numeric answer. To my knowledge the only CLEPs that require a verbal answer, i.e. typing in text, are the English Comp and Freshman English with essay.

This really isn't a fill in as having to memorize a name, date, place but to perform a math function. It is important to note though that your study will require you to mentally fill in the blank (as seen in the flashcards) making it easier for you to literally see the correct answer to a question found within the multiple choice answers given.
