I just got a transcript with some of my old grades on it and it has a few more Cs than I would like
My first question is if I duplicate/retake say a CLEP or DSST for a class with a low grade do I have a choice as to which one gets credited/used by the school ? (I havent enrolled but EC is prob gonna be it).My second question is kinda the same but in regard to excess credits..I have Eng 101-102 and Phil 201 on my transcript and I also just took CLEP Humanities/A&I Lit so I have the Humanities/WER covered..but I would like to drop the 102 and Phil since they are Cs..if I am willing to lose the credits, take something else to make up my elective total can I have them NOT include/use designated classes ? In other words if I have 130 credits and only need 120 can I pick which are used (while meeting the basics of course). Any other ideas or suggestions are welcome, Blitz |

EC will allow you to retake the class or CLEP and will use your highest grade to calculate your GPA. They will not take off the old grade, they will just use the new grade for GPA purposes. Check with an EC advisor for details.
