Default Statistcs Idoits/For Dummies/Dummies Workbook

From anyone else experience which of
The three would give you a good orientation to deeper study of statistics?
I bought the workbook. It is interesting well written. My question...is the material
covered relevant to the tests for statistics? It seems Statistics is the
Biggest hurdle at Excelsior as it is a must
Or college Algebra. Beyond that you can
Pretty we'll choose subjects according to
Your need and ability

Yes, the Dummies Workbook is relevent to the test. I used that workbook and InstantCert, plus the "Against All Odds" videos at learner.org to study. InstantCert was the most helpful for learning core concepts, the workbook was most helpful for putting the formulas into practice, and the videos gave me a nice idea of how these things apply to real-life scenarios. Good luck!

I used the Idiots Guide to Statistics. I studied for about one month, and passed the DSST exam with a 75! Great book and covered just about everything on the exam.
