Default Switching a test

I registered to take Excelsior's world religions but now I'm thinking it over because someone stated that it was an essay test.

Am I able to switch this exam?

Worst case scenario I'll just go take it.

No, you can't switch EC exams after you have registered for one. The only option is to cancel the first one and register for the second. You can get HALF the exam fee refunded on the cancelled exam, but you must submit a written request to EC to get that back. Check with them for the procedure and time limits, etc...

Weigh your options carefully.

In the past Excelsior did not record exam grades below a C. Times have changed, and if you do poorly you will be stuck with a bad grade on your transcript. I am not trying to talk you out of it, but just be aware of what you are getting into.
The EC essay tests require a significantly more amount of effort than the multiple choice tests.

I'm not too worried, I think I will do well but I feel that it's going to be a lot of extra studying and I had to buy a book for 40$ I was trying to not do that lol.
I'm a pretty good test taker, I just have to study.

will the IC intro world religions help with this exam?
