Excelsior requires every one to take
Information Literacy, English and Math. Would anyone recommend books that could break me into the subjects. I haven't signed up yet but would like to have some basic understanding of the subject before hand. Would the For dummies or Idiots Guide be a good starting point? Is Statistics hard? I have a lot of different views. |

If you take the Excelsior Information Literacy on-line course, you will not need any external materials. The course itself will point you toward web sites, articles and other resources, but you probably won't even need them to pass the final exam.
When you register to take the ECE English Composition exam, you will be able to use "MY Access!" which is a very nice on-line writing practice system. I highly recommend taking full advantage of it if you have any doubt of your writing skills. I'll let others respond about Math resources. |
