Red face Hopefully the last hoorah...

Hello all!

I just got word that dantes FINALLY sent my R+F of the USSR test results into EC. While they haven't actually evaluated it yet (which is driving me a little manic...) at least it isn't lost anymore.
Yesterday, I took ECE Abnormal Psych.
As usual, I didn't feel very confident about the results, and I hope I am wrong about thinking that I may not have passed that darn thing. There were more than one question that I was mentally swearing at like I had hit my thumb with a hammer. All I want is a "C" for this thing and that does it for my credit load.
While this rant may seem pointless I guess the crux of it is that I kind of thought my last exam would have felt a little different. A little sweeter or given me a sense of closure.
All I really feel now is a bit of a sense of loss. Like when a realtive moves away or something. I am not using this board for therapy (esp. since the last 3 weeks have all been ECE Psych exams!) but I was wondering if anyone else has been in the same position? I have taken these darn CLEPS, Dantes, and ECE's for soooooo long I guess I never really thought there would be a time I didn't need to do it any longer.

Thanks for letting me rant.
-HB

HB,

It makes perfect sense that you might feel a sense of loss. Taking exams has been a major part of your life in recent months...and now you are facing the loss of something that has become 'familiar' to you; something that you have invested your self, your time, and your money into; you are losing the 'status quo' in your life.

Of course these are exciting times too, as you achieve a major milestone in your life, but experiencing some measure of grief for the 'passing' of an 'old friend' is to be expected.

The question then becomes: How will you fill the void?

After the grieving AND the celebrating is over, you will need to establish your NEXT goal...and make THAT your new 'friend' for the next chapter in your life!

Congratulations on finishing your last exam, and my sincerest commiserations on the loss of your 'friend'.
