Default Once you have applied, how long does an evaluation take?

I have put in an application to Excelsior and to TESC.

Excelsior BS Liberal Studies
TESC BA Liberal Studies

All transcripts should be received in the next week.

How long does it take to hear back with an evaluation once the transcripts have been received?

Interesting, I received an email from them today stating that they received some of my transcripts already, which is good. We'll see what happens.

I guess a good analogy would be comparing a tortoise to a snail. Not much difference in speed when you stare at it but overall one is just a little bit faster.

I also applied to both in July. I finished my AS and most of my BS now at Excelsior and believe that TESC still has not completed my evaluation as of this date. My experience has been that Excelsior is a bit fatser and far more flexible with how they award credit.

If you have not yet done so, go to the homepage and look at the bottom right corner for "myEdison" and select it. Enter your username -student ID number (call and get it if you don't have it written down- you'll need it for any and everything you do including every time you log into class) From this page, you will have to enter your password- it is the last 4 of your social.

Once you are in, you can explore here- but for now click the "services" tab.
Click "access student services"
This new window is all your "stuff." You'll see a hyperlink for "transcripts received" and you will be able to track what and when they get your info. Also, you'll see a hyperlink for "academic evaluation" and you can just keep checking. As soon as it is done, it will post here first- they will also send it snail mail, but you can check every day and know ASAP.

Hope that helps you a bit! Oh, and they are slow. I took a CLEP in early October, they got my transcript Oct 23, and it still isn't posted to my evaluation.
