Scored an 'A'.
The Psychology of A&A IC and the foundation provided by studying for the various other psych exams was more than enough to score an A on this one. It was relatively straight-forward as far as ECEs go; I was confident while reviewing my answers that at least 70-75% were correct. Still no word on the Clep Introductory Sociology, but I'm confident I passed. I think I will try to take one more UL ECE prior to leaving Kuwait next month. I'm seriously considering taking five UL online courses through Excelsior in order to graduate by the end of the semester. As strange as it may seem, it's actually more feasible for me to do it this way financially. Anyone have any advice or info on taking online courses with them? Jason

Lee,
I'm actually quite aware that the tests can be taken in the AOR... I've been doing just that since I arrived in Kuwait back in September. As a matter of fact, most of the exams in my sig were studied for and taken here at Ali Al Salem. This is my third time playing in the sand since 2000, and the education centers have always offered testing IIRC. Regardless, I certainly appreciate the heads-up! Salem isn't bad at all; myself and many others are actually pursuing a four month extension. Due to the fact that they don't offer all the ECEs here (they have to be ordered, and can take upwards of two months to arrive), I've been considering taking a four Excelsior classes online to fulfill the remaining 12 hours. I figure I might as well since I can use tuition assitance to pay for it. Would you recommend that I simply stick with taking UL exams rather than the actual courses?

Jason,
It all depends on you. I looked into doing online courses with them but didn't want to take 16 weeks to finish them. I asked them why they don't have shorter courses and was told they are working on it. I think you could do 4 at once but you'd be very busy. I personally would just test out of them and be done in a month versus 4; you could start on your Masters instead. Something to think about! Good luck. Lee
