Default A&I Lit - same as REA and Peterson's practice?

Having been great in English way back in high school, I thought the Analyzing and Interpreting Lit practice tests would be a breeze - I was wrong!

I just took the REA test and scored 57 (which was 56%; 45/80 questions right) so that can't possibly be a pass, can it? I got 70% on the Peterson's, so that's a bit better. This whole scoring thing is not quite making sense yet!

Is the actual test as difficult as the practice ones? I've been reading all of the tips posted here, so I'm hoping that will help, but I'm just not getting it.

Test is on Saturday, and I need these 6 credits by Dec. 1.

Thanks!
Kait

PS - passed the Here's To Your Health two weeks ago thanks to all of the tips on here!!

I found that the REA practice tests were more difficult than the actual CLEP test. A 50 is passing anyway, so you would be fine with a 57. Good Luck

Chuck

Default Scoring

Thanks Chuck. This whole scoring thing is so confusing - I thought a 70% was passing, so I have no idea how 45/80 = 56% which = 57 points!! Crazy!!
Fingers crossed.

You'll be fine...I did not study/practice at all for the test and passed easily. Just watch the time...don't get hung up on the stories. Go with the answer that seems most logical and move on. Easiest 6 credits ever!

Lemme know how you do.
