Default BS Liberal Studies or BS Liberal Arts??

I just graduated last week from Excelsior with what I thought was a BS in Liberal Studies. That is what it has been called on nearly every document I've seen from them. However, I am looking at my unofficial transcript and see that it is listed as the following:

    Degree: Bachelor of Science
    Program: Liberal Arts
    Focus Area: Health Prof.
    Psychology
    Conferred: 11/16/07

So, I'm thinking that if this is listed the same way on the official transcripts, then my degree is really a BS in Liberal Arts? I know it is splitting hairs, but I wouldn't want to list it wrong on my resume, since the transcript is what prospective employers will be looking at.

Has anyone seen how they actually list the BSL degrees on an official transcript?

Also, to other Excelsior grads, how is your degree listed? And how would you put it on your resume?

First off - Congrats on your Bachelors degree!!

The LS and LA programs are similar but different enough allowing the to be differentiated. Most folks I know simply list either B.S. or B.A. as their degree (my own is a B.S. with a major of Criminal Justice) and that's what is on my
    EC diploma and transcript.

My BSL is listed on the transcript the same way. Liberal Arts is the program, and Liberal Studies is the degree. Either would be fine for a resume, I would think.
