Psychology vs. Liberal Arts major
I noticed by reading some threads that more than one of us have the same question.
When going for a Master's, or other higher degree, do schools really care if your degree is a specific major or a general one, like the BSL from EC? If so, other than the GPA, what other major differences are there between getting a degree from EC or TESC? It seems, by reading the credit distribution for the Psychology major at TESC, that the actual major could be finished quicker. Thank you very much. Mateo

I am lined up to take 4 EC examinations all under PSY. If I am successful on the tests, I think that with the credits I have, I could go for a BA in Psych at TESC. However, at EC I would have to go for the Bachelors in Liberal Arts given the new requirements for the PSY major.
I'm currently waiting for the results of my initial eval. at EC, and I will go from there. Is there a major difference between a BA and a BS when it comes to graduate school? Thank you. Mateo
