$900 for a precalculus course? Who's ripping you off?

Others can pipe in with test study methods, but what I'll throw in on this is:
If you have to take a class, take it online with some community college. Worst case is it'll set you back a couple hundred bucks at worst.

Yeaaaaa, the Pre-calculus test is brand new. It replaced the lovely trig. test. Study material? I just headed to Borders and picked out a book or two. Get on CLEPs website and match the "topics covered" to whichever book you get.
oh - I'd go for the $65 CLEP before I went for the class. Never know!

They might not accept a CLEP, but couldn't you take the class through a community college and transfer it? I just can't see spending $900 bucks just for the UMASS logo on that, is all.

O MI GOODNESS???... can i take an online course for precalculus at a community college and have it transferred over??? wow.. I thinnnnnnnk I'm gonna totally explore that... I've done alot of work with UMASS the 30 hours which they 'need'. so everything else I bet I could transfer in.....they already accepted my 60 credits from Houston community college...

an onnnnnnnn line community college.. . anyone recommend a good one?

BRILLIANT suggestion! thanks... but just such a drag to fill in forms and all that right??? but worth saving 900 bucks!!! really!!
