Question Criminal Justice or Intro to Law Enforcement??

Hey everyone:

My advisor has suggested I test out of one of these classes since I am an early childhood education major. She thinks that since we may have to deal with child abuse issues in our field, one of these classes would be more beneficial than Principles of Supervision.

For those who have taken them, which would you suggest is the eaiser of the two.

Thanks,

Carol

Hi Carol,

I have passed both of those exams and found them to be equally straightforward to pass using Instantcert. You DO have to study for them, obviously, but a little study goes a long way with these two exams.

Since you are trying to tie things in with legal issues as they apply to children, I would recommend that you take Criminal Justice since it covers the juvenile justice system quite well. Intro to Law Enforcement, on the other hand, is more of a history of the police force, and a primer on how various Law Enforcement entities operate and are organized.

There IS quite a bit of overlap though. So it's up to you. But I would probably go with CJ if I were in your shoes.

Best of luck,
Snazzlefrag
