I have a question for those who have taken stats as a course or the DSST. I anticipate taking a stats 500 course late next year for a totally different degree, but I thought it might be a good idea to use the DSST stats as an elective for my BA (to get my feet wet, especially since I have never taken any math higher than algebra). Now I am having second thoughts.... and a bit fearful. Does anyone think this would be better to enroll in a stats class vs. a test? I will, at some point, need to do it again.
And part two, would it be insane to try a stats 500 without first trying a stats 200? Thanks!!
