Default FEMA Credits - Part 2

OK....here's the deal. I took 10 FEMA exams in 3 days. I want to make sure that these 10 exams WILL BE ACCEPTED by TESC, since I can't seem to find a working link on TESC's website to give me the right information. So, here's my list. If anybody can tell me if any one of these won't be accepted, please let me know.

IS-001 Emergency Manager
IS-007 A Citizen's Guide to Disaster Assistance
IS-230 Principles of Emergency Management
IS-235 Emergency Planning
IS-240 Leadership & Influence
IS-241 Decision Making and Problem Solving
IS-242 Effective Communication
IS-244 Developing and Managing Volunteers
IS-111 Livestock in Disasters
IS-139 Exercise Design

I'm not sure about IS-001 & IS-007 but I'm pretty confident that the rest of them are OK.

I seem to recall a list of all acceptable FEMA exams either here on IC or perhaps on degreeinfo.com.

This is from another thread:

"Fema not accepted 022, 055, 100, 200, 317, 340, 362, and any course number higher than course number 632."

I'd still call TESC and get confirmation.

Default Fema answer for Matymus....

I called TESC at 888-442-8372 after I printed their credit banking application on their website (it is listed under services)
I confirmed that they could indeed transcribe Fema credits and then I sent in the application (copy everything first for your record).
I submitted 17 courses, of those they did not accept 00700,00005 and 00362.
Of those you listed I have not taken 240 yet but I plan to do it soon all the others are in the transcript I received in about three weeks (14 credits), they also sent me a sealed transcript ready to be sent to Excelsior.
I am extremely pleased with the process and I am shooting for at least 20 Fema credits. It is a good deal for $ 380.
I hope this helps and ask if you have any more questions.

Default Credit banking application for TESC

Matymus and everyone else that may need this form for Fema banking ...

http://www.tesc.edu/students/support...ServiceApp.pdf

Make sure you keep a copy for yourself........

I did not write all the courses, I just attached a spreasheet I had made of my Fema courses, you can bank other certificates (notarized) or courses that you need transcribed for possible credit ( Limit 60 credits)

I hope this is not too confusing.. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I had them send it directly to TESC and I received a copy for my records within two weeks.

By the way in case all of you are wondering I do not have 42 Cleps...lol
I meant 42 Clep credits.....also, I meant "spreadsheet" on my previous post...

I have transcripted all of those through TESC and they transferred to Excelsior without any problems.

Matymus,

How long would you say it took you for each one?

The shorter ones take about 20-30 minutes. The longer 50 question ones about 45-60 minutes. This is if you have great keyword searching skills within Adobe or MS Word.
