Default Passed Statistics!!

I just took this one last night & passed with a 52. All things considered, I'll take that grade! Kiwi says that's a 'B'. My brain was mush last night & I could hardly remember any formulas at all. I did have my BA-II Plus calculator...which is a God-send. For those who have to take this exam....you need to get this calculator & learn the statistics functions.

Let's see if I can remember details. This truly was the hardest one I took. I ran out of time, so there was 1 or 2 questions I didn't get answered. There were a good deal of questions regarding correlation, line regression. Definitely more than I was expecting. There were quite a few probability questions, which I was thankful for.

One formula that truly saved me, was more of an algebra formula instead of statistics. Like I said, there were quite a few questions regarding line regression, correlation, etc. Well, if you can remember that the slope of a line formua is: y= mx+b , it will serve you very well.

There was ALOT of questions regarding Normal Distribution...so....you need to know all about Z-scores...with AND without knowing the Population SD.

You'll definitely need to understand levels of significance. Know it well, I might add. I seemed to have conveniently forgotten alot of the formulas and truly had to take a 'best guess' on some of them. It was frustrating. Anyway, that's about all I can say about this exam.

I thank God that I am done with this one. One more math exam to go......College Algebra. I shall slay that beast.

I'd also like to thank Snazz for his assistance. His advice really helped me out quite a bit on this one. THANKS SNAZZ!!

I do what I can. It's difficult enough trying to get through each exam and reach our goals. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't been able to glean wonderful information from those that have gone down this road before, ya' know?? I just pay it forward.
