I have been studyng IC, Petersons, Clep books and even Standard deviants. I am having a heck of a time retaining any information. I am so overwhelmed. I was hoping that someone could help me through this.

I took the Biology several years ago and received credit for it. I barely passed. Nevertheless, it was still a pass. Would you suggest to redo the Biology?? Or just keep studying for the Natural Science
Thanks Derf |

Here's my advice...from somebody who has taken both the Biology and Natural Sciences CLEP within the past 4 months. Personally, I found the NS exam easier. Granted, it covers more subjects...Astronomy, Physics, Physical Sciences, etc; however, the material for the NS is broad & doesn't go very deep. The Biology CLEP actually goes alot deeper. I actually failed both exams with a score of 48....depressing, I know. Anyway...that's just my personal take on the whole thing...I found the NS exam easier than the biology, even though I had the same score on both.

Study hard. and long. and you CAN do it! Science is very much not my best subject, so this test took awhile, but I did pass. So I know it can be done. Just keep going through everything, looking things up, knowing basic physic principles, knowing TONS of biology and the stages of evolution, make sure you know DNA, and some things about stars/astronomy/planets, know some chemistry....these tests that are broad are so hard to figure out what is on the test. So take some practice tests and learn from them. Research anything that's not clear to you from the study materials you have.
Good luck!
