Default Why no federal aid at Excelsior?

I was wondering if anyone knows why you cannot get federal financial aid to attend Excelsior. Apparently COSC offers it...I'm not sure about TESC though. Just curious if anyone knows the reason...

Not sure of the reason, but I heard that it's in the works....

I know u can't get loans but im am fairly sure you can take a life time learning credit on your taxes. Which in my tax bracken is like a 20% discount.

Well, the short answer is that they are not a Title IV school. They are regionally accredited. My understanding is that most regionally accredited schools qualify under Title IV for federal financial aid. Why doesn't Excelsior? I spent a good hour and a half searching the web one night trying to figure it out. No luck. For me it doesn't matter as they are the most affordable and flexible anyway. Take a shot on the web and look up Title IV and Excelsior and see what you see. At some point I'll ask an advisor over there but I usually just think of things like this when everyone is closed...
