Question Excelsior & FEMA to arts/science electives

    Hi,

    THis is a great forum!

I just got my eval back from Excelsior College for a BS in General Business. It states among other requirements, that I need to earn:
    29 arts/science electives
I also have to fulfill the English and Organziation Behavior requirements which I'm asusming can contribute to the arts/science electives.
So this would leave me with 23 more to go and 9 of them have to be in social sciences.

My question is...would anyone know if FEMA credits can be used towards arts/science credit requirements?
Otherwise, I will have to test out of 7-8 courses

    Advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Andy

I have not taken any FEMA, but I am pretty sure Excelsior is going to place these in the Applied Professional Credits column.

Thanks. I also read the entire thread posted by mpalo.

So...FEMA credits would be considered Applied Professional. Hence....could it apply to arts/sciences category? I have to earn 23 credits in arts/science category and its either FEMA credits or testing out.

I am not familiar with how App. Pro. credits fit into an EC Business degree.

If you are enrolled, ask your advisors. They usually get back to me with a response the next day. That way you will know for sure.

I believe they would be added to your applied professional, that's where mine went to.

Thanks. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in General Business. The only requirements left are 29 arts/sciences but 4 specific business courses. So I'm looking for the fastest way to finish those 29 arts/sciences. If FEMA credits goto Applied Professional but I don't need that category, what woud happen?

    I enrolled...so I'm waiting for a reply for the advisor now....fingers crossed.
