    Default and 12 more credits...

    Hello everybody,

just to share my exitement, that it might have been my last exam yesterday.
I passed the DANTES - Personal Finances, DANTES - HR (got the results yesterday) and passed the ECE - Org. Behavior (on Monday) and the ECE - Research Methods in Psychology (yesterday).

I'm soo happy that I found IC and this great forum. I would have not been able to do it without you!!!

I'll keep you posted about the 3 outstanding results.

I am sure that you did great! You are so close....
Could you answer a question about the NYU Language Proficiency Exam?
I took the CLEP Spanish (native speaker).
I earned 12 credits with a perfect 80. Could I add the NYU test to it or do you think that it will duplicate credits? I work in Education and I am contemplating either a Spanish teaching certificate or possibly Special Education.
I am starting from scratch with 36 credits to date and I am taking Sociology tomorrow. I plan to test out all the credits needed.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hi et4tango,

Congrats on your Spanish, a perfect 80. WOW!!!
Sorry to tell you though, the CLEP and the NYU are dublicate credits. (I was hoping and checking several times, because for me it would have ment 12+16 credits in just two exams. NOPE, at least not for Excelsior. Do you speak another language which you could use to write the NYU exam?
I'm looking into Special Ed too.
Good luck for your Sociology tomorrow and let me know if you need help with anything else.

    Default Gracias....kckusek

    Thank you

Ok, I am happy with the Clep credits.
I am taking Sociology, Psychology, Human and G. Develop. and Educational Psych. in that order, I am shooting for two a month if possible, after that I will look into enrolling at Excelsior and keep going.
I am trying to accumulate as many psych credits as I can to make it easier on future certification for a teaching job.
Thanks for the feedback and I let you know how Socio. went.
    Best of luck.

Can you give any insight to the Organization Behavior exam. This was another one on my list. I am in the psychology mind frame so I want to stick in that area. I do need to do Acctg in the meantime since we have until june for 6 credits.

    Hi iwannapass,

I found Organization Behavior one of the more difficult exams. I can not really explain why, but I felt that there are a lot of similar things. Make sure you study IC and it should give you at least a C (that's what I got). If you study it well and take your time, I am sure you can get a better grade then a C.
Also, make sure, go you over the Excelsior Info Sheet about the exam and take the practice exam on that sheet. It will help your mind to get into the questions they are going to ask.

    GOOD LUCK,

    kckusek
